15-24 Sept 2006. The annual international film festival presents socio-political documentaries and feature films from all over the globe in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The programme includes films from Africa, Asia and Latin America as well as thematic sections titled The price of oil, Terms of trade, Ceasefire! and Local. Africa is represented by films from Mali, Uganda, Cameroon, Sudan, Rwanda and South Africa, many of which are showing on the continent for the first time. Tickets R30.
