Lagos hosts the second edition of Lagos Fashion Week from 7 - 11 March.

Organisers Arise Media say that in addition to showcasing designers from Nigeria such as Frank Osodi and Bridget Awosika, the event will include the designs of international fashionistas like David David from London, Amrapali from India, and Kevan Hall from the US.

Some of the top African designers participating are British-Ghanaian Oswald Boateng and South African duo Kluk CGDT.

The number of participants has increased from 50 at the inaugural show to 77 this year.

The event ends with the Arise Magazine Fashion Awards ceremony at which the winning designer will win the "Golden Ticket" to appear at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in September.

The fashion event takes place in the grounds of the five-star Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
