A new bus terminal was opened in Maputo, on 29 February.

The terminal, which can hold 35 buses and is used by Mozambican inter-provincial transport operator Etrago, cost $800,000. It is located near Heroes' Square, on the road to Maputo International Airport.

Etrago operates routes between Maputo and Inhambane province in the south, Zambezia in the centre and Nampula in the north.

The transport company has plans to expand its activities to the northern provinces of Tete and Niassa.
