Nigeria's international carrier Arik Air is launching a new service from Lagos to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on 29 November.

The three direct weekly flights will depart Lagos at 19.45 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Abu Dhabi at 06.00. The return flights depart Abu Dhabi at 08.00 and arrive in Lagos at 12.15 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The carrier will use its 237 seat Airbus A340-500 for the new flights.

The largest commercial airline in West Africa, Arik Air operates out of Lagos. Its 229 weekly services fly to 25 destinations across Nigeria and around Africa.
