Self-service check-in at Addis Ababa airport

Self-service check-in kiosks have been introduced at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, allowing passengers to print boarding passes and select their own seats.

The service, which was launched by Ethiopian Airports Enterprise and Ethiopian Airlines on 22 May, is expected to decrease congestion at the airport during peak travel hours.

The move is part of the airport's campaign to improve passengers' travel experience and strengthen Addis Ababa's role as a leading African hub.
