Tenure of Arusha Rwanda tribunal judges extended

The United Nations Security Council has agreed to extend the terms of office of the judges sitting on the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) in Arusha to allow them to complete their work. Cases of first instance had been due to finish by the end of 2010 and appeals by the end of the following year. Now, on the request of the court
