Uniforms for Lagos bus conductors

Move to "restore dignity" of Lagos bus staff.

From 1 January bus conductors in Lagos will be issued with uniforms and formal identification tags, according to the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN).

The move is designed to "restore sanity and dignity" to the service as well as ensure greater security for bus conductors.

The BCAN also said that it has begun training its Lagos members to improve relations between customers and conductors.
