Until 8 September 2010. This exhibition unites Kenyan artists who have participated in exhibitions in Italy in recent years.
Titled 'Back from Italy' the artists include Justus Kyalo, Ash Uman, Kivuthi Mbuno and Stanslaus Shake Makelele.
Kivuthi Mbuno draws exclusively on cardboard, using coloured pencils, ink and pastels. Justus Kyalo's non-representational paintings are inspired by music and dance. Stanslaus Shake Makelele has won many important international awards, and his works are found in various public and private collections around the world. Ash Uman's paintings have been exhibited in Milan, Rome, Bologna and Trieste.
