13 June-16 June 2009. South Africa's premier occasion for promoting literature, The Cape Town Book Fair began in 2005 and is now an annual event. It is organised by the Publishers' Association of South Africa in conjunction with the Frankfurter Buchmesse, the largest book fair in the world. The fair is a three-day weekend event and during the mornings a special feature will be the 'Writer at Play' sessions involving some of South Africa's most important children
