12-23 Aug. Design for tomorrow is the theme of Cape Town's Open Design festival. The main events take place at the V&A Waterfront and city hall with exhibitions and film viewings, while the rest of the city is the scene for pop-up shops, Talk100 forums and other design-related events.
Sustainability in design is one of the main interests of the 12-day festival, which will also showcase various projects in conjunction with international partners in Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria and the United States.
