Cape Town's Eco Film Festival

They highlight local and global ecological issues, including genetic engineering, climate change, fracking and bee keeping.

Some are showing in Cape Town for the first time. The project is organised by While you were Sleeping which brings films on socially important issues to Cape Town, many of which are never distributed through the main circuits in South Africa.

Screenings are at the the only independent cinema left in the city.
