10 - 19 September 2010. The fifth outing of the Dockanema film festival can be enjoyed for free at various locations throughout Mozambique. A broad selection of films and documentaries are on offer as well as the chance to meet film makers and take part in discussion forums and master classes.

The festival's aim is to promote visual culture in a creative way and focus on topical issues with particular emphasis on Africa and Mozambique. Highlights include Jihan El Tahri's Behind the Rainbow which documents the nature of the conflict within South Africa's ANC, and 48 by Susana Sousa Dias, a film about Portugal and its colonies under the 48 year dictatorship of Oliveira Salazar from 1926 to 1974.
