1-26 Sept 2006. Soapstone sculptures by Naftal Momanyi and paintings by Patrick Mukabi go on show at the Rahimtulla Museum of Modern Art (RaMoMa) in central Nairobi. Momanyi has been working with soapstone since the early 1980s and has shown his work and taught widely in Kenya and abroad. Figurative painter Mukabi takes the everyday life of women as one of his main themes. In addition to painting he also teaches figure drawing and acrylics. Opening 1 Sept 18.00-20.00. 2-26 Sept Mon-Sat 09.30-16.30.
