Glenda Jones with Cinnamon

After Glenda Jones' I am a Dance and Raw Silk she now presents Cinnamon at the Baxter Theatre.

It is the story of a young girl's mythical journey into an imaginary world where wolves teach her to laugh, love and love.

Chelsea Jacobs makes her debut as lead dancer. Jones' African Ablaze company has 50 dancers, all of them lead-role quality, says Jones.

Its repertoire includes ballet, hip hop, contemporary African jazz and kwaito, described as a sort of slowed-down garage music which became popular among Johannesburg young in the 1990s.

Jones founded Afrika Ablaze in 1999.
