Live in Accra jazz festival

Local and international jazz musicians take part in this festival, partly organised by the Alliance Francaise and the Goethe Institute.

On Friday 24 April Freshly Ground, a group of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South African musicians, performs at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill.

On 25 April Ghanaian Big Wellington with Maher Beauroy Trio from Martinique and the US, followed by the 251 Jazz Band from Ghana on 26 April both perform at the Alliance Francaise.

There is a special international jazz day performance on 30 April by Ghanaian Rukiza Okera, and Highlife greats Pat Thomas, Ebo Taylor and Nana Ampadu play on 2 May.
