Homage to the Grimm Brothers

16 June 2012. On occasion of the 200 anniversary from the publishing of the Grimm’s Fairy Tales, this theatrical performance, entitled A World of Fairies and Shadows, pays homage to the famous German brothers and philologists Jacob and Wilhelm.

This shadow play is performed by a group of German language students of Precious Blood Secondary School in Riruta/ Nairobi. The Grimm’s famous fairytales collection is one of the most translated works in the history of German and international literature of all times. Their corpus includes Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White.
