27 September 2012. This documentary feature film, entitled How To Make A Book With Steidl, focuses on the German publisher Gerhard Steidl, during his collaboration with world famous photographers in New York, London and Paris, in the desert of Qatar as well as in his hometown, Göttingen.

For over 40 years Steidl has worked contemporarily as a printer and publisher of photography, fine art and fashion books at his own printing shop in Göttingen. His perfectionism and deep love and passion for books, for the traditional printing craft and for high quality manufacturing, have contributed to make him gain a worldwide popularity.
