7-10 Dec 2006. Musicians, producers, promoters and distributors gather in Nairobi for the third annual Kenya music week to promote the best that the national music industry has to offer. In addition to exhibitors stands the event also includes a programme of workshops on various aspects of the music industry such as piracy, the role of the media in promoting national production and international tours, and live performances. Kenya music week was established in 2004 to help develop the Kenya music industry into a professional, transparent and profitable business.
