Lake Basin Art Group Exhibition

6 May-30 June 2012. This exhibition, entitled Tranquil Waters, features the paintings by Lake Basin Art Group (LBAG).

This unique group of artists, coming from the lake region in western Kenya, is composed by emerging students and talented artists, specialized in painting, sculptures, installations, jewelry, dancing, photography, interior designing, graphic designing and printing.

The Lake region includes breathtaking places like Lake Victoria, Fisherman, Bodaboda, Kit Mikaye, Lwanda Magere, Hyacinth, Ohangla and Kisii Soap stone. This region, known for its rich culture, traditions, folklore, landscapes, social and economical activities, inspires their works.
