Listening to Distant Thunder: The Art of Peter Clarke

20 October 2011-19 February 2011. This exhibition pays homage to The Art of Peter Clarke and his contribution to the South African art.

On display are a series of humorous paintings by Clarke, which celebrate life in all its aspects and everyday experiences. Among his works are some of his early pieces made as a schoolboy, which express the social disruption of Cape Flats, as well as some of his most famous prints.
