29 Sept-1 Oct 2006. Rocking the Daisies is the first edition of a music festival in Darling on Cape Towns West Coast. Over 20 of South Africas best bands including the Parlotones, Finkelstiens, The Dirty Skirts, The Beams, Rudimentals, Goldfish, Fletcher (Krushed & Sorted), Rory Elliot and Breakfast Included will perform at Modder River Farm against a backdrop of beautiful scenery and spring flowers. Festival-goers can camp at the farm and proceeds from the festival will go to SADD (South Africans Against Drunk Driving). Tickets are R295 if purchased on-line or from Rocking the Daisies outlets and R325 if purchased on the door. For information see the festival website.
