19-28 April 2006. In February 2006 seven Cape Town male prostitutes were each given an instant camera and told to take pictures of themselves and their environment. The results of this photographic workshop provide a portrait of Cape Town on the one hand and an insight into the darker underworld inhabited by the sex workers on the other. A percentage of sales from the exhibition will be donated to the Cape Town-based Sex Workers Education and Action Taskforce (SWEAT), which promotes the health and human rights of sex workers in South Africa. Wed 16.00-19.00 or by appointment.
