Theatrical Play: If I Were You

24 August-8 September 2012. The Phoenix Players present this theatrical play, entitled If I Were You and directed by Caroline Odongo.

It tells the story of an ordinary family, the Rodales, who hide various problems beneath a perfect surface. Jill and Mal have lost the spark in their marriage, their son Sam resents his father and their daughter Chrissie has recently become a mum and is dealing with marriage issues of her own. The protagonists keep judging the lives of others, until one day Jill and Mal start see things from a dramatically different perspectives. In fact, one day they find out that they have switched personas: Mal is captured in Jill’s body and Jill in Mal’s.
