Waiting for the Barbarians at Baxter

16 August-1 September 2012. The Baxter Theatre Centre and Mopo Productions present this South African classic drama play, entitled Waiting for the Barbarians.

Written by the Nobel Prize winning J.M. Coetzee and directed by Alexandre Marine, its stellar cast includes Grant Swanby, Ruben Engel, Owen Manamela-Mogale, Chi Mhende, Alistair Moulton Black, Nicholas Pauling, Anele Situlweni and Chuma Sopotela. It tells the story of a magistrate in a small frontier town under the jurisdiction of the Empire.

This play is not suitable for children under 14.
