8-28 May 2009. Xavier Verhoest presents recent work at Le Rustique restaurant in Nairobi. Proceeds from the sale of works will go towards Familu Art Project in Mukuru and Art2Be, a group of Kenyan and European visual artists and therapists working with marginalized groups in Kenya.

Born in Zaire (present-day Democratic Republic of Congo) in 1964, Xavier Verhoest studied cinematography and editing in Belgium before joining Medecins Sans Fronti
