Performers and spectators from all over west Africa will arrive in Accra for the first edition of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) carnival from 19-21 September. The carnival is being organised by the Ghanaian ministry of chieftaincy and culture to celebrate the cultural and ethnic diversity within the sub-region.
