Young African filmmakers are invited to take part in a short-film competition exploring the challenges facing the African continent and the ways in which Africans have and have not risen to meet them. Organised by the Women Filmmakers of Zimbabwe and the Goethe-Institut in conjunction with the Art in Africa Foundation, it is based on the philosophy that Africans need to take greater responsibility for their problems and for finding lasting solutions to them.
