Bullets over Bishop Lavis

23 April-12 May 2012. The Jester Productions present this play, entitled Bullets over Bishop Lavis, written by Christo Davids and Jody Abrahams and directed by Jody Abrahams.

Starring Abduraghman Adams, Diaan Lawrenson, Charlton George and Euodia Sampson, the play tells the story of two blood brothers Jerome and Ronnie, who live in the Cape Flats, an area dominated by drugs, crime and bloody gangsters.

One night a street shooting suddenly changes the protagonists’ lives and separates them. After seven years Ronnie has become a successful criminal lawyer and Jerome is an ex-con in search of his street brother in order to complete the last part of their pact.

This play is not suitable for children under 12.
