13 June-8 July 2006. Recent work by Sebastian Kiarie is on display at the Rahimtulla Museum of Modern Art (RaMoMA). An agronomist by training, Kiarie has always shown an interest in subjects from everyday life. Inspired initially by internationally acclaimed Kenyan artists Sane Wadu and Meek Gichugu, he privileges browns and reds while his themes are largely social and political. He has exhibited widely in Kenya and abroad and attended workshops in the United States, Zambia and Germany. Inauguration 13 June 15.00-20.00. Mon-Sat 09.30-16.30. Sun closed.
